Certified Gold Coin
For 55 years the $10 gold piece was the largest denomination circulating in the United States. Designed by Robert Scot and Christian Gobrecht, this coin was first minted in 1795 through 1804. The Capped Bust to Right has two variations to the reverse (back) one is the Small Eagle (1795-1797) and the other displays the Large or Heraldic Eagle (1797-1804).
